O Allah!
Your blessings have been showering
Your forgiveness has been pouring;
My state is such that
I have been only ignoring(!)
Now that the end has come
With remorse, I have a feeling
My loss has let me down
Alas! How poorly I’ve been dealing!
Your mercy is only the refuge
I beseech it today kneeling
Without You – Your Love — indeed
Life has just no meaning!
Hastily I come to Your Mighty Court
With nothing, while Ramadan’s leaving
At Your Call – not losing hope
You’ve said You’re ever-forgiving!
Only a speck of Your Mercy
A sinful slave is needing!
Forgive me, I seek Thy grace;
Today my heart is bleeding.
