The Noble Sahaba رضي الله عنه

Most Muslims of present time really know very little about the noble companions, the Sahaba رضي الله عنه of Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ. It is highly shocking, a great regret that born in a Muslim family today we have almost no or too little idea about the the Sahaba رضي الله عنه.
Shaykh Muhammad Sindhi, an Imaam in a UK masjid related a real appalling experience he had. In a gathering of 20 young men when he asked do all know Abu Bakr Siddique رضي الله عنه , eight of them didn’t know who he is ! However, when the same audience was asked about a UK footballer, all replied that they knew him !
This is not a matter to be taken lightly.
If we claim Imaan, if we claim we are Muslims and if it is we or our child, who says, I don’t know Abu Bakr – how could be the grief and sorrow be expressed ! What sort of Imaan do we bear – this question pops up right away ! Without knowing the Sahaba رضي الله عنه, the noble companions of Beloved Rasulullah is ﷺ truly our faith becomes highly questionable ! Indeed, the Sahaba رضي الله عنه‘s life, their sacrifice and their hardship have been exemplified for the whole Ummah to come till the final day of this world. It is through the Sahaba رضي الله عنه we have been blessed the illuminating Seerah, Noble Life of our Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ. Their unprecedented sacrifice and hardship have been praised by Allaah سبحانه و تعالى Himself in several verses of Holy Qur’an.
If we look into the Noble Life of Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ, we will be spellbound to discover the deeply embedded relation between Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ and the Sahaba رضي الله عنه. There can be no match of human love throughout the history that had been manifested by the Sahaba رضي الله عنه, nor there will ever be any !
In case of all the Sahaba رضي الله عنه, every step of their life, every behavior and interaction since their entering into Islam till their last breathe – their life is evident that for the sake of Allaah سبحانه و تعالى and His Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ, there is nothing impossible for them to undergo. They had forgone all blood-relations, all their wealth, all the desires and finally breathed the last with the highest satisfaction of Allaah سبحانه و تعالى and His Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ. Indeed, it is in their very life, when Allaah سبحانه و تعالى announced His pleasure toward them, their good deeds. The whole Ummah will get exhausted writing their love toward Allaah سبحانه و تعالى and His Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ, and mind it reader, this is not at all an exaggeration, because it is their noble fortune of getting the invaluable attachment of Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ that made them exceptional in all spheres ! Only a great fool today would dare to argue on any point regarding their lofty status.
It is our humble request that all Muslims become very serious on learning, studying and following the footsteps of the Sahaba رضي الله عنه of Beloved Rasulullah ﷺ. If death approaches before any awareness regarding this great achievement, we will find ourselves highly deprived and there will be no limits of regret. May Allaahسبحانه و تعالى provide us the ability. Aameen.
