Question yourself O Traveler to Hajj

A large number of Muslims have forgotten and missed the fact of both inward and outward conditions in Shariah. Both are important forms of Ibadat. Both are to be learnt, understood and practiced.
We learn and we learn with zeal. However, in most cases, we learn in the wrong way. At our age, a widespread wrong way of learning is self-study of books and research on the internet.
No concept or Ibadat can be understood clearly or completely only through self-studying and virtual ways. Rather, after fulfilling certain conditions of acquiring knowledge, internet learning can be a source of some learning study and/ research.
Due to our negligence at proper learning and understanding of Islam we are taking the wrong way of accomplishing Ibadat. The same is happening in the case of Hajj. We are performing such an important Ibadat in a carefree way.
It is very unfortunate that for many among us, Hajj and Qurbani – the great worships have become customary today.
We have not understood and realized the meaning of these worships but taken these as simply rituals. It is pertinent that we know the real purpose and method which has been commanded to us by Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى.
If you are going/preparing for Hajj, please meet a pious scholar and get the answers to the following questions:
What is the right intention for Hajj? Just why should you be undertaking this journey?
What is the significance of Hajj in a Muslim’s life?
What will happen to you after you perform Hajj?
What are the major rulings and methodologies of Hajj?
Who can be my best company in Hajj so that the worship is accomplished according Shariah?
How to pass my time in Makkah and Madinah?
What things should I take in this journey?
May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى provide us the ability to perform Hajj fulfilling the conditions sincerely. Aameen.
