Muharramul Haraam: A Big Reminder for Reformation
• Last Updated on March 7, 2022 @ 2:22 pm by Islaminlife Admin
When we look into the world’s present situation, the whole Ummah (the Muslim Nation) is crossing over a crucial time. However, history bears witness that for a sincere believer, every single situation has been proven a blessing. Indeed, these adversaries call on us toward the Quran and Sunnah, toward our Lord, and toward Jannah. We are reminded that this worldly life is temporary and trivial.
Our supplication to Allah Taala should always be similar to our Beloved Prophet ﷺ:
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ
Meaning: O Controller of the hearts! Make my heart steadfast on Your Religion (i.e. Islam). [Tirmidhi]
The only solution to all the issues befalling us is, knowing and following the objective of this worldly life. We are to return to our Lord and every one of us is accountable for our actions to Allah Taala. Afterlife is the place to get the ultimate and eternal returns. Success has been defined vividly:
فَمَن زُحۡزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدۡخِلَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ فَقَدۡ فَازَۗ وَمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَآ إِلَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡغُرُورِ١٨٥
Meaning: Whoever has been kept away from the Fire (i.e. Hell) and admitted to Paradise, he has really succeeded. And the worldly life is nothing but an asset, full of illusion. [Sura Ale Imran: 185]
At the beginning of this new lunar year, let us look into our life a bit seriously and make some calculations. Let us ask ourselves how we are passing the day and night. Unfortunately, we, a great number of Muslims seem to be oblivious to our duties and responsibilities. We have neglected our obligations to a great extent, but it is we who are the complaining servants of Allah Taala, who are complaining against our unfavorable situations. It is high time that we reconcile and reform. Let us work on the purpose of life. We should refresh our faith and correct our actions in light of the Quran and Sunnah. Otherwise, any delay might result in just remorse and regret that would fetch in no good!
In this holy month, let us make the best efforts to reform ourselves. People with higher-level responsible for society and have no option to turn a blind eye!
When we will turn to Allah Taala through Tawba (repentance), it is then when our supplications will inshaAllah not be turned down.
Finally, IslamInLife team wishes and prays for all its readers a very prosperous Imaani (faith enlightened) life! We humbly request for supplication/dua to the respectful readers of IslamInLife for this team (i.e. IslamInLife Team) – especially for the ease and acceptance of all our little efforts!
