She would get him on the prayer mat.&nbsp;<span id=\"more-549\"><\/span>Some times she would see that her son is extending hands, supplicating and sobbing to Allah. Some times she would see that he is completely absorbed in&nbsp;<em>Salat<\/em>. His mother would call him, \u201cO Dear! Don\u2019t you need some sleep too?\u201d Boy Rabi\u2019 would reply, \u201cHe, who has the fear of enemy, could he sleep when the darkness befalls?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px\">Listening to such words tears would roll down from his mother\u2019s eye and she would heartily pray for her son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px\">Later when Rabi\u2019 ibne Khusaiym (R) grew up to a young man, so did his&nbsp;<em>Taqwa<\/em>\u2026When people went to bed at night, Rabi\u2019 (R)\u2019s prayers and tears made his mother unrest. When this continued for long, Rabi\u2019 (R)\u2019s mother once said to her son, \u201cDo tell me dear son! What has happened to you? Had you murdered someone?\u201d Rabi\u2019 (R) replied, \u201cYes mother! I had slain a life.\u201d The mother said, \u201cDo tell me who that person is(?) If his relatives learn how you undergo hardship at night they would surely be kind to you!\u201d Hearing this, Rabi\u2019 (R) said, \u201cThat isn\u2019t necessary because I had killed my own soul. I killed it with the weapon of sin.\u201d (This was definitely his piety!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px\">This Tabeyee, Rabi\u2019 ibne Khusaiym (R) was a favorite student of Sahabi Sayiduna Abdullah ibne Mas\u2019ud (RA). Sayiduna Abdullah ibne Mas\u2019ud (RA) used to say to Rabi\u2019 (R), \u201cO Abu Yazid! If Rasulullah \ufdfa had seen you, he would surely had loved you a lot!\u201d Sayiduna Abdullah ibne Ma\u2019sud (RA) also added, \u201cEvery time I see you, I remember the polite and sincere ones!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px\">When the final moments of Rabi\u2019 ibne Khusaiym (R) drew near, his daughter was sobbing beside him. He consoled his daughter, \u201cO Dear! Why do you cry?
