Pay Heed to Allah Almighty’s Severe Warning

The State of the Righteous Bondsmen 

The obedient bondsmen of Allah Almighty accomplish good actions and present them in the court of Allah as if they have committed great sins. One of the reasons for this is that before them exists the situation of people better than them. Compared to that, they feel inadequate and inferior with their good actions. Another reason is that there is always such fear in them that what I am doing is commendable in my and other peoples’ eyes; however, it is not known whether these are accepted by Allah Almighty! It may be that there are some big flaw in my actions, for which everything will be turned down, i.e. unaccepted (we seek all seek refuge in Allah!). Another reason is that the virtuous and pious always believe themselves to be more sinful. They worry about even their own pettiest (minor) sins as major. They do not pay attention to how much good deeds they have accomplished, rather forget those. Even if someone reminds them about their good actions, the condition  of the pious is such that they have no pride and confidence in their deeds (at all).

In fact, the truly righteous people bow before the greatness and majesty of Allah Almighty. The feeling and perception regarding their own smallness never allows them to think of any self-esteem. It is indeed a baraka consequent to their effort of annihilating their self!

Everything is the Infinite Mercy of Allah Subhanu wa Taala

However, all of these are Allah Almighty’s very special mercy upon the pious and righteous. Intention, Itteba of (following) the Sunnah, worries of self-correction and salvation, keep them busy. Allah Almighty make them a means of guidance for the contemporary people. These pious and righteous are busy in zikr and contemplation. Some of them seem to be engrossed in good actions, some are absorbed in acquiring divine knowledge — of all them are indeed the beloved bondsmen of Allah Taala! MashaAllah..

What do we Require To Do

We sinners should at least respect them, love the pious and righteous! Let us highly value and appreciate their company as invaluable. The good effect will inshaAllah have impact on us too! This is how we will also be worthy of achieving Allah’s mercy, InshaAllah, we will find a way to be forgiven from our sins. He is Allah Almighty, who forgives the sins His servants, He bestows mercy upon them. But do not forget, the influence of good company accelerates all the goodness from Allah!

The man who murdered a hundred people was finally pardoned by the blessing of his pure intention of repentance and set off towards a place where righteous people resided, a famous incident narrated in a Hadith Bukhari Shareef!

Allah’s Grave Warning to us all

In broad daylight and the darkness of night, openly and secretly we indulge in several forms of sins; how is it possible that we do not refrain from sinning!? If we do not repent and present us in the court of Allah Almighty in shame and remorse, Allah forbid, the day of great regretting is soon to come! On that day, there will be no opportunity to make amends, no compensation will ever be possible. See how Allah Almighty warns us:

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ

O people! Fear (the punishment of) your Rabb (by obeying His commands). The earthquake of (the Day of) Qiyaamah is a tremendous (mighty) thing indeed.

يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّا أَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَى وَمَا هُم بِسُكَارَى وَلَكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ

When you will witness the day (of Qiyaamah), (you will see that people will be so terrifiedd and worried that) every nursing mother will forget her suckling infant and every pregnant woman will abort (her unborn child). You will also see people in a drunken stupor although they will not be drunk, but (they will be in this condition because they will realise that) Allaah’s punishment is severe (Worried that they will have to face His punishment, people will be oblivious of everything else).

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّرِيدٍ

There are those people who, without (relevant) knowledge, dispute with you about (the Being, the Attributes or actions of) Allaah and they follow (the dictates of) every rebellious (proud) Shaytaan.

كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ مَن تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُ يُضِلُّهُ وَيَهْدِيهِ إِلَى عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ

The decision has been passed against him (Shaytaan) that he will mislead whoever befriends him (whoever does as he wants), and he will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze (Jahannam).

Sura Hajj: 1 – 4

Read the above verses carefully. Read it a few times! Allah Almighty has issued the highest level of warning at all His servants, i.e. the entire mankind. Now the one who will not return, is really the most unfortunate, because he will be the associate of the devil! Satan will finally take his associates to Jahannam, the Hellfire.

Take Special care During the Holy month of Ramadan
Let us not forget our consequences, at least, in this Holy days of Ramadan. If we do so, it will be more difficult to repent on other days!

In the times when the pious and righteous people are crying and beseeching at the court of Allah despite a boost to their good deeds and  higly worried about their salvation, what should general people like us do — should be contemplated upon seriously.

Allah’s mercy is infinite. If we seek forgiveness and mercy to Him with sincere repentance, no one will be deprived, inshaAllah!
